i saw this word on a package of potato chips and i think

the concept of snacking must be a north american concept. i went out with two sisters in villahermosa to buy some bags of potato chips for the family to have coffee together on sunday. pipo and i bought tequila and potato chips for the game of risk. i went with chris to have soup-filled dumplings as a requisite tourist activity for visitors to shanghai. but this bag of potato chips advertised itself as the perfect idea for snacking. this suggests a subtle but significant dialectical transformation. this is to say that a snack does not mark an occasion, but an occasion is marked by the snack. maybe if i think of other things like this i will list them, like the list in Spengler's essay in Asia times purporting to exemplify North American culture. http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Front_Page/EK18Aa01.html
