what did we eat this weekend?

sticky rice with blanched peanuts, spring rolls with boiled pork and suya-fajitas a la plancha, hoisin and ground peanut sauce, pistachios, fried cassava chips, roasted leg of lamb with saffron raisin sauce, jasmine rice, stewed goat meat with egusi sauce with semolina and yam porridge, freshly fried tortilla chips with a tomatillo salsa and sour cream, elotes, ezquite, german chocolate with corn flakes, fresh bread and sourdough bread, paletas, maranhon juice, whisky, port, beer, sojue, et des autres refraichements...

also i injured my knee from trying to run too far too soon. i will have to recover before i can get back on the marathon exercise circuit

Watch the mileage at the beginning, adding no more than 3 miles to your long runs in a week. Marathon running and stress fractures go hand in hand, so don't increase too much too soon. Good luck! Which marathon are you going to run?

y'all know i was built for marathons. i am not aware of any marathon schedules or anything, i was just training for the marathon 'cause i was bored. but i'm gonna pretend like the big race is coming up.

You athlete you. You just missed the Mumbai Marathon. There is a freescale marathon coming up on Feb 13th in Austin. You have my moral support.

Damn, Jesse, when do you find the time to do all this cooking?? It's quite impressive though. I'm trying to perfect a Chicken Adobo recipe myself. Tonight, I'm also trying out my friend's Kimchi Fried Rice recipe. If it goes well and you're interested, I'll give you the recipe as well.
