whose intentions
i saw the movie Devil's Advocate last night. bullet-pointed review:
- the female nudity is important to help it limp through the places where the plot is weak.
- the devil can speak Cantonese, Spanish, Latin, Italian, and Russian, and manages to mispronounce and/or make grave errors in word and sentence-level prosody in all of them. i'll bet they didn't bother to hire a linguistic consultant.
- it is assumed that the viewer has a basic understanding of catholic mythology, but no more!
- i changed my mind.
i will remind myself that it is always good to finish homework and put a bow on it, even print and staple it, before you go to bed. then you get to sleep until the last minute. if you leave anything for the morning, you have put your hands in the fate of someone who is unreasonable and antisocial, (and his fate in your hands).
i have publicly announced my intention to study korean, this way there is a plan B.

now, now lets not make rash decisions ...a seat in the japanese class might free up. =p you should write more movie critiques because i like reading them.
