hourly snow almanac

11:24am i woke up well rested and noticed that everything is covered in snow. traffic is still flowing smoothly
12:19pm the street on which my house lies is becoming thick with snow. one car turning off of main st spins out and spins out. a car behind it honks. i went for a shower and when i came back the car was unstuck.
12:30pm another car is stuck on my street, the UPS guy and one other guy get out to help the stuck car
12:45pm the ups guy rings my doorbell looking for the owner of a van that he is inches from hitting with an uncertainty of several feet in his maneuvers. all he wanted to do was deliver a package. it is still snowing.
1:36pm ups truck is gone. it is still snowing. traffic moves very slowly on main street
2:18pm snow has slowed down, but still falls. i'm tired of looking out of the window.
4:30pm i have never tried shoveling before, so i went out to see if i could clear space for the cars that keep getting stuck. the snow started falling harder and it undid my work behind me, but it was fun because i've never shoveled before. my neighbor came out and told me that sometimes it gets very high, up to your waist, and only the greatest shoveler can manage.
